Tuition: Tuition is due on the 1st of the month for the coming month. Monthly tuition is based on a four week rotation. Some months there will be five weeks some months will have three. Based on this average, tuition will not be pro-rated.

Late Fees and Make-up Classes: After the 10th, tuition is considered late. There will be a $20 late fee attached to the next month's tuition. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks. There are no refunds for missed classes unless we cancel a class due to instructor illness. If a student is absent due to illness, vacation or any other personal reason there are make-up classes available. Please call the office to find out which classes are level appropriate for your child. Make-up classes must be used within 30 days of the missed class.

Class Observation: Parents may watch class through the observation windows. We do not allow non-students inside the dance rooms. This policy is for the quality of instruction to be maintained, as students will not be distracted. While class is in session, please do not open the dance room doors as it is very disruptive to the dancers. There will be a parent observation week in the winter. Please check your newsletters.

Classroom Etiquette: No food or drink is permitted inside the studio. Water bottles may be kept with the dance bags in the cubby holes provided. Absolutely no gum at anytime will be allowed. Cell phones should be turned off or set to silent/voicemail while in class. Conversations during class are disrespectful to the instructor, and disrupt the class. Questions regarding the class are always welcomed, but all other discussions should be saved for after class time is over. And finally... please no street shoes on the dance floor.

Dress Codes: Dress codes are provided for each class in the class description information sheet. We feel very strongly about upholding dress code standards as it is a necessity in effectively determining the correct body placement in each dancer. While layers may be very fashionable, they are not conducive to the learning environment. Instructors will dismiss students from class if not in the proper dress code... Please help your child be prepared for class. A good rule for the dress code is "if it is not listed, don't wear it." It is each dancer's responsibility to put his/her shoes and other personal belongings away after each class. All shoes, clothes, etc. should have the dancer's name in them so they are easy to find when missing.

Newsletters: Newsletters will be posted in the lobby and sent home with each student. Please read your newsletters so you can remain informed on upcoming events and announcements.

Forms and Waivers: To satisfy requirements from our insurance company, dancers will NOT be allowed in class unless we have a current liability waiver on file from a parent/guardian. Please read the waiver and policy guidelines forms, then sign, date, and return to us. Thank you!

Adding/Dropping Classes: You will be billed your usual tuition unless an add/drop class form has been turned in no later than the 5th of the month. We ask that you fill out the form so we have a record of any changes in registration. A drop-in rate of $15.00 per class will apply if not registered for the class.

Recital: Recital will take place at The Horn Theater on June 21, 2009. Students must be registered in order to participate. Regular attendance to class must be a priority for the continued growth of each dancer and for the growth of each class.

Parent/Guardians and dancers 4th grade and older, or students over 18 years old will need to sign their name on the line below so we know that you have read, understand, and accept all of our Policies and Guidelines which are included with this form.
